The theme for my class's eighth grade exit project is The American Civil Rights Movement. Students will be able to choose topics within this broader theme to research and report on. Students have selected topics from Civil Rights leaders, to important court cases, to protests and marches.
What was the economic impact of the industrial revolution on the working class.
i want to compare the civil rights movement to the vietnam war.

Are most of you allowing your students to choose their own topic or are you narrowing it down for them so that all of them focus on the same unit for their exit projects??
